Cameo cross stitch 12/27/2010
 Brian's mom gave me a great cross stitching book, A Rainbow of Stitches: Embroidery and Cross-Stitch Basics Plus More Than 1,000 Motifs and 80 Project Ideas, for Christmas this year (there are so many cute patterns in this book). I wanted to make something pretty for a friend at work so I chose this elegant cameo in a simple yet sophisticated color palate. This was such a fun pattern to stitch up. I watched a couple of chick flicks snuggled up on the couch with at least one cat on my lap at all times. I had the perfect vintage frame to put it in and I'm very happy with the results.
